Impression

This category occupies the important position for Yoshiki Takata.
"Impression" is a keyword which includes all works and overarching all categories.
"Impression" which means "being engraved on the hear", "the marks of a thing remaining directly", "imitation" and so on, starts expanding Takata's ideas when Yoshiki Takata is conscious of a trace.

Going to the art fair in France are cancelled. The works which should be brought, are left in a box.
After earthquake disaster in Tohoku 2011, I cannot move from the front of TV. The abstract images do not become the form in reality due to the reality of TV.
After tsunami went away, there were people who pray budding from the bulb of the tulip planted in the yard without a house and lived people.
I also have resonance.

I move in the space by my style.
Space accepts my style.
I feel, lights, wind, and heat.
Then sometimes I record a vestige.
I....., I rarely record a vestige.

• Intensive Planning Stage of Color Chart 2010
"Vestige–Indication–Record" series was recorded in the fourth.
Exhibition in Yogyakarta overlaps on the waving cheesecloth. Light from a projector is transmitted through several cheesecloths and works of cheesecloth in Yogyakarta reflect.
Audiences go back and forth between "the present place and time here" and "the place and time of Yogyakarta." Then the deed themselves are recorded.
This solo exhibition was re-arranged and produces, based on the records of the exhibition of Yogyakarta since December 2009.
1) Projected the state of the exhibition of Yogyakartaon the work produced in Yogyakarta
2) Displayed the character charge account of the color chart (making the color chart of my style)
3) Distribution plan of the color chart of my style (iwashi, sardine shall see)

• Collecting 2008
It's collecting things that I encountered.
I'm not interested in collecting things and cannot organize thing. Let me collect and organize things that I encounter if it's a short trip of three weeks.
However things are unlikely to collect by people who don't need them at all. "The unnecessary things" that are neither a note and a pen, nor a visual image or recording, become records.
That storyteller of collected things was gently wrapped in cotton cloth.

Gathering encounters in frottage.
Frottaging the gallery. The ceiling of gallery Yume is a record of construction itself. The Skeleton of concrete building was recorded. At the same time, frottaged works from other sites are exhibited.
The other sites are the quarry wall surface of Oya stone, on the street of Vietnam, and the iron door of Rumania.

Working from the end of 2007 to the beginning of 2008. I spent Christmas and new year countdown in Stuttgart, Germany.
The candle lights were flickering the place where people gather.
Things which I encountered the last of 2007, were sealed into candle wax. Then a New Year's card for 2008 was put in a plastic bag.

This is to create works at the site. The site doesn't provide me any inspirations.
The site doesn't give me any nor I'm not ready for the site.
This means working on the site. That would be OK.....
CAREI-RUMANIA Symposium 2007

Things are confronted each other in the structure of the stone.
"Impression considers" it as a title for the purpose of having included the meaning of the trace. Japanese translation is roughly "Inshow." This site was the first place where I was conscious of "Inshow" as the clear sign of things.

The concept is explaining a situation.
There are wall planes. Frottages of the wall are displayed in the 30 cm front from the wall. The frottages of the wall surface are emerged from the darkness by the black lights. Because the site is deeply under the ground and almost in dark environment. What emerged is the raised portion from the wall surface the nearest to me.
Whether it would frottage the wall surface or it would cover a wall surface.

Goto Gallery Daegu, Korea is transformed to the space of Oya's underground.
Then the work is exhibited by a little lights in the space.
